Marriage is Lifetime Friendship

After you have exchanged your vows, you did not really think that you will have issues to face in your married life. It is given that no relationship that lasted that long without the trials and common issues of marriage. They have always been there and will always be there not to break the bond that you have. But instead, you should think of it as a way to strengthen your marriage and test how deep is your love for each other. It is also a way to know how strong you can withstand the tests with your partner.

Marriage is not an assurance that you already have someone in your life. Marriage is just the first step and the relationship that you have should be constantly nourished on a daily basis. Yes, on a daily basis such as by not forgetting to make your partner feel that you love him/her. It may be cheesy for some but believe me, even the smallest things means a lot because they can be compared like small stones that helps in the foundation of your relationship. This foundation does not easily break with the right components. And also, small issues always come first before major issues come into your married life. You should always be prepared and open minded because these trials always happen. Always remember that to win the battle, you and your partner should face it together.

Working on your marriage and improving it is the best way to keep it. Marriage is not a battle but a game that you and your partner should play together to win and enjoy it. Treat each other with respect and accept each other’s flaws in order to have a successful marriage. Do not also forget that marriage is only about physical and emotional attraction, it is also building a friendship with your partner. Friendship, in a way that you have someone you can talk to and willing to listen to you for the rest of your life. Constantly work on how to save marriage before someone tries to break it.
